Turkmenistan.

220 V · 50 Hz on Type C, Type F, Type B.

Turkmenistan runs 220 V at 50 Hz with Soviet-legacy Type C sockets and Schuko Type F in newer buildings; the IEC also records American-style Type B outlets. A europlug covers almost everything in practice. Appliances rated 120 V only need a converter despite any familiar-looking socket.

The voltage window

A nominal 220 V supply may legitimately sit anywhere between 198 and 242 V (±10%). Dual-voltage gear (marked 100–240 V) shrugs at all of it.
