220 V · 50 Hz on Type F, Type C.

Turkish walls carry Schuko Type F sockets at a nominal 220 V, 50 Hz, so earthed Schuko plugs and two-pin europlugs from continental Europe fit directly and European 230 V appliances run without issue. Travellers from the UK, Ireland and North America need adapters, and 120 V-only devices need to be dual-voltage.

The voltage window

A nominal 220 V supply may legitimately sit anywhere between 198 and 242 V (±10%). Dual-voltage gear (marked 100–240 V) shrugs at all of it.
