220 V · 50 Hz on Type C, Type F, Type I.

Soviet-era wiring at 220 V, 50 Hz: Type C sockets everywhere, Schuko Type F in newer installations, and the IEC also records Type I. A europlug handles nearly every outlet you will meet; travellers with British or American plugs need an adapter, plus a voltage check for 120 V-only gear.

The voltage window

A nominal 220 V supply may legitimately sit anywhere between 198 and 242 V (±10%). Dual-voltage gear (marked 100–240 V) shrugs at all of it.
