230 V · 50 Hz on Type F, Type C.

Standard continental fare: recessed Schuko Type F sockets at 230 V, 50 Hz, into which every europlug and Schuko plug fits without fuss. Anyone arriving from elsewhere in mainland Europe plugs straight in; visitors from the UK, Ireland or the Americas need an adapter, and 120 V-only appliances need a voltage check first.

The voltage window

A nominal 230 V supply may legitimately sit anywhere between 207 and 253 V (±10%). Dual-voltage gear (marked 100–240 V) shrugs at all of it.
