North Macedonia.

230 V · 50 Hz on Type F, Type C.

Schuko country in the Balkan mould: recessed Type F sockets that accept two-pin C europlugs, at 230 V and 50 Hz. The IEC still lists it under its former short name, Macedonia. Continental European plugs fit directly; UK and North American visitors need adapters.

The voltage window

A nominal 230 V supply may legitimately sit anywhere between 207 and 253 V (±10%). Dual-voltage gear (marked 100–240 V) shrugs at all of it.
