230 V · 50 Hz on Type F, Type C.

Bulgarian walls carry the recessed Schuko Type F at 230 V 50 Hz, and the two-pin Type C europlug fits every one of them. It is the same arrangement as Germany or Greece, so gear from mainland Europe works as-is; UK and North American plugs need an adapter, and 120 V-only appliances need voltage conversion too.

The voltage window

A nominal 230 V supply may legitimately sit anywhere between 207 and 253 V (±10%). Dual-voltage gear (marked 100–240 V) shrugs at all of it.
