230 V · 50 Hz on Type C, Type F.

Ex-Soviet wiring at 230 V 50 Hz: unearthed Type C sockets dominate older apartment blocks, with earthed Type F standard in newer construction. Europlugs fit everything; thick-pinned Schuko plugs can be a tight or impossible fit in vintage outlets.

The voltage window

A nominal 230 V supply may legitimately sit anywhere between 207 and 253 V (±10%). Dual-voltage gear (marked 100–240 V) shrugs at all of it.
