Drawn from pin dimensions at one scale across the whole site — hold a plug against the screen and it should look familiar.
Thailand's home-grown standard, TIS 166-2549, dated by the Buddhist year for 2006 and still being phased in wall by wall. All three round pins are 4.8 mm thick: the line pair sits 19 mm apart with 10 mm insulating sleeves on 19 mm pins, and the earth pin hangs 11.9 mm off their centerline — deliberately the same triangle as an American Type B, so one hybrid socket can host old and new plugs during the long changeover. Rated 16 A, it exists nowhere else.
What fits a Type O socket
Besides its own plug: Type C. Most Thai walls are actually hybrid sockets taking A, B, C and O together. E and F plugs share the 4.8 mm, 19 mm pin gauge and often seat in these flat faces — but pick up no earth.
