Drawn from pin dimensions at one scale across the whole site — hold a plug against the screen and it should look familiar.
Italy's own three-in-a-row design under CEI 23-50, also common in Chile: line, earth and neutral sit on a single straight line, earth dead center, so the plug is fully reversible. It comes in two gauges that do not interchange — the 10 A version drawn here has 4 mm pins with the outer pair 19 mm apart, while the 16 A version grows to 5 mm pins spaced 26 mm. Italian walls answer with the 'bipasso' socket, which swallows both gauges plus the europlug in one face.
What fits a Type L socket
Besides its own plug: Type C. A plain 10 A socket takes 10 A L plugs and europlugs only; the wider 16 A gauge needs a bipasso or universal socket, which many Italian homes now fit alongside Schuko.
