230 V · 60 Hz on Type A, Type B, Type C.

An unusual pairing: North American socket shapes — flat-blade Type A and B plus round-pin Type C — on a 230 V, 60 Hz supply. US plugs fit physically, which is exactly the danger: 110–120 V appliances will be destroyed unless they are dual-voltage. Check the label before using anything with a motor or heater.

The voltage window

A nominal 230 V supply may legitimately sit anywhere between 207 and 253 V (±10%). Dual-voltage gear (marked 100–240 V) shrugs at all of it.
