Two-pin round sockets throughout: Type C plus the French-style earthed Type E, on a 220 V, 50 Hz supply. Continental European plugs fit directly; travellers from the UK or North America need an adapter, and 120 V devices need to be dual-voltage.

The voltage window

A nominal 220 V supply may legitimately sit anywhere between 198 and 242 V (±10%). Dual-voltage gear (marked 100–240 V) shrugs at all of it.
