Martinique.

220 V · 50 Hz on Type E, Type C, Type D.

A French overseas department, wired accordingly: Type E sockets with the protruding earth pin take two-pin C europlugs, with some Type D also recorded, on a 220 V, 50 Hz supply. Plugs from mainland France fit directly, which simplifies packing from Europe.

The voltage window

A nominal 220 V supply may legitimately sit anywhere between 198 and 242 V (±10%). Dual-voltage gear (marked 100–240 V) shrugs at all of it.
