230 V · 50 Hz on Type A, Type C, Type G.

Runs 230 V at 50 Hz through an unusually forgiving mix: flat-blade Type A, two-pin Type C and British Type G all appear, and many sockets are multi-standard. Remember that A-shaped outlets here carry 230 V, not the 120 V the shape implies.

The voltage window

A nominal 230 V supply may legitimately sit anywhere between 207 and 253 V (±10%). Dual-voltage gear (marked 100–240 V) shrugs at all of it.
