Zimbabwe.

220 V · 50 Hz on Type G, Type D.

Zimbabwe runs 220 V at 50 Hz with British-pattern Type G as the standard socket and round-pin Type D still present in older buildings. UK plugs fit the majority of outlets directly. Extended load-shedding is common, so many premises supplement with generators or inverters.

The voltage window

A nominal 220 V supply may legitimately sit anywhere between 198 and 242 V (±10%). Dual-voltage gear (marked 100–240 V) shrugs at all of it.
