A French overseas department wired to metropolitan practice: Type E sockets with the protruding earth pin, which also take two-pin C europlugs, at 220 V and 50 Hz per the IEC. Anything you use in mainland France works here without an adapter.

The voltage window

A nominal 220 V supply may legitimately sit anywhere between 198 and 242 V (±10%). Dual-voltage gear (marked 100–240 V) shrugs at all of it.
