240 V · 50 Hz on Type G.

Straightforwardly British: fused three-pin Type G sockets at 240 V, 50 Hz, the same rectangular-blade pattern as the UK. Visitors from the UK, Hong Kong or Singapore plug in directly; everyone else needs a G adapter, and anything designed for 110–120 V must be dual-voltage to survive the supply.

The voltage window

A nominal 240 V supply may legitimately sit anywhere between 216 and 264 V (±10%). Dual-voltage gear (marked 100–240 V) shrugs at all of it.
