Costa Rica.

120 V · 60 Hz on Type A, Type B.

Costa Rica mirrors the United States at the wall: 120 V 60 Hz on flat-blade Type A and earthed Type B sockets. North American travellers need nothing at all; Europeans need a plug adapter and should confirm their devices are dual-voltage, since 230 V-only appliances will not run properly on 120 V.

The voltage window

A nominal 120 V supply may legitimately sit anywhere between 108 and 132 V (±10%). Dual-voltage gear (marked 100–240 V) shrugs at all of it.
