A Type G plug in Sri Lanka?
Yes — it seats, earth and all.
Sri Lanka's Type D and Type G and Type M sockets accept a Type G plug (British 13 A plug). Both sides carry an earth, so grounded appliances keep their protection. The wall delivers 230 V at 50 Hz (207–253 V within tolerance) — if your device isn't rated for that (look for "100–240 V" on the brick), an adapter won't save it.
