A Type A plug in North Korea?
Yes — it seats, though without a guaranteed earth.
North Korea's Type C and Type F and Type A sockets accept a Type A plug (US two-blade (NEMA 1-15)). The plug is unearthed by design, so nothing is lost in translation. The wall delivers 220/110 V at 50/60 Hz (198–242 or 99–121 V within tolerance) — if your device isn't rated for that (look for "100–240 V" on the brick), an adapter won't save it.
